Nordea Asset Management verstärkt Fokus auf ESG-Lösungen

Nordea Asset Management (NAM) fusioniert den Nordea 1 – European Value Fund (BP-EUR LU0064319337; BI-EUR LU0229519557) mit Wirkung vom 9. Oktober 2020 mit dem Nordea 1 – European Stars Equity Fund (BP-EUR LU1706106447; BI-EUR LU1706108732).

Die Fondsfusion baut auf dem Erfolg der STARS ESG-Fondspalette von NAM auf und unterstreicht Nordeas Engagement im Bereich verantwortungsbewusstes Investieren. „Die Zusammenlegung der beiden Fonds spiegelt unser Bestreben wider, in den Bereichen ESG und nachhaltiges Investieren führend zu sein. Es ist unser Ziel, unseren Kunden eine breite Palette von Strategien anzubieten, die ESG vollumfänglich in ihren Anlageprozess integrieren“, sagt Eric Pedersen, Leiter des Responsible Investment Teams von NAM.

Die STARS-Fondsfamilie steht an der Spitze des ESG-Angebots von NAM: Alle STARS-Fonds zielen darauf ab, die Benchmark zu übertreffen, in Unternehmen zu investieren, die die ESG-Standards von Nordea erfüllen, und durch aktive Eigentümerschaft eine nachhaltige Wirkung zu erzielen. Die STARS-Fonds repräsentieren den besonderen ESG-Integrationsansatz von NAM, der vom hauseigenen preisgekrönten Responsible Investment Team unterstützt wird.

Das Engagement von Nordea Asset Management im Bereich ESG-Investments ist nicht neu, sondern tief in dessen nordischer DNA verwurzelt und prägend für Unternehmenskultur, Philosophie und Geschäftsmodell. Fast ein Drittel des Kundenvermögens von NAM wird aktuell in ESG-Strategien verwaltet, und der Assetmanager baut sein Angebot im ESG-Bereich kontinuierlich aus: Die 2011 eingeführte STARS-Familie besteht heute aus 16 Anlagestrategien, sowohl im Aktien- als auch im Rentenbereich.
