The Green Planet Fund has delivered strong performance in 2026, benefiting from its high conviction positioning in electrification. What was once viewed primarily as an environmental theme is increasingly being recognized as a strategic necessity, sitting at the intersection of several powerful structural trends including artificial intelligence, energy security, industrial reshoring and electric mobility.

As AI infrastructure and data centre investments continue to accelerate, the need for additional electricity generation, energy storage and grid infrastructure has become one of the most important investment opportunities of the decade. At the same time, recent geopolitical developments have further reinforced the importance of energy security and resilient energy systems, driving investment across the broader electrification value chain.

These developments continue to support the investment case for the Green Planet Fund, which maintains significant exposure to the critical bottlenecks enabling the energy transition, including power infrastructure, grid modernisation, energy storage, electrical equipment and critical materials.
